The Importance of Relationships in One’s Life and the Role of Matrimony
Relationship means connection and association with another
person in the society. Like every relation in life, the bond between husband
and wife is also built on love and trust. The society gamut is built on the
relationship building blocks and trust throughout the history and society has
simply existed on established relationships.
From conception to development, a child is attached to
mother even when inside the womb. This is the source of a rudimentary
relationship of every person. When the child is born, he/she is surrounded by
family consisting of mater, father and siblings in addition to other family
members. The family relationship is very important as it shapes the future of a
person advancing in life.
As the person moves on with life, he forms relationship with
other family members, peers, friends and colleagues. There are also
relationships that do not vary from one to the other. The child in school forms
a relation with teachers of tutorship while remaining close to other students
as a friend to last for a lifetime in most cases.
During the adulthood, the child forms interpersonal
relations between members and friends of the opposite sex. The basic formation
of all these relationships is based on trust. These relationships play a vital
role in the formation of a healthy person. After entering matrimony, the
relationship converts to commitment towards progeny and spouse. This
relationship is purely formed on trust and love.
There are relationships between peers and colleagues even in
organization and the bond that comes out of it is everlasting for quite a few.
No relationship is equal to the relationship of a friend. A friend holds
immense value in life and is always there for you. Friendship like other things
is also regarding commitment. There are a lot of examples in a person’s life
where a relationship with a friend lasts longer than other relationships. This
also contributes to the well being of other individuals.
Relationships also depend on the communication level a
person maintains with his partner. There comes a time in life when the
relations are soured due to miscommunication and lack of time. Communication
gap always lead to sour relationships. Healthy and good relations nurture faith
and goodwill among living beings to provide for a carrying effect on every
human being.
